Through fun activities and demonstrations, campers will experience
what life was like for Hoosiers from the early 1800s through World War II. Campers will “pack” their own wagon for the journey west to Indiana, experience life as a Civil War soldier, and see first-hand how the Indiana State Museum preserves the Indiana story.

The first ice shaving machine for making snow cones was invented by Frank Thomas in 1925.
