Directions: Corydon is off I-64 approximately 30 minutes west of Louisville. From I-64, take exit 105 (Indiana State Rd. 135) south into downtown Corydon. Tours begin at the First State Capitol at 200 N. Capitol Ave.

Description: After Vincennes, the first territorial capitol, was isolated, the capitol was moved to Corydon because of it's central location.  Visitors will learn about the beginnings of Indiana history when visiting this limestone capitol building.

Hanover College, founded in Jefferson County in 1827, is the oldest private institution of higher learning in Indiana.
