The Ernie Pyle Festival is conducted each year by the Dana Community Volunteer Fire Department. Games and fun for all ages highlight this event the second weekend in August. Check our calendar for more information on these and other activities.
Scenic Parke and Putnam counties, where you'll find the largest concentration of historic covered bridges in the country, are about a half-hour's drive east of the Ernie Pyle State Historic Site.
