Q: Is photography allowed in the museum?

A: Flash photography and the use of tripods are not permitted in the museum galleries, however photography is welcome in the public areas of the museum.

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites have a large collection of paintings by Indiana Dunes enthusiast Frank Dudley because the state received one painting per year as "rent" while Dudley was living at the Dunes after his property became part of the state park.
