Welcome to the website of the Indiana Supreme Court's Division of State Court Administration. The Division is an administrative office of the Chief Justice of Indiana.
Our mission is to assist the Chief Justice and Indiana Supreme Court in their leadership role as the administrators and managers of Indiana's judicial system, its courts, officers and related offices and programs. In particular, the Division:
In performing this mission, the Division works closely with Indiana's trial courts and serves in various capacities, many of which are detailed on this website. Our goal for this website is to logically present information that anticipated users most want to see.
The site includes information about and links to the projects and initiatives run by or staffed through our Division, such as the Public Defender Commission, the Judicial Qualifications Commission or the Judicial Technology and Automation Committee. It also publishes information about and the results of another core function of the Division: the collection of statistical information about the operation of Indiana's courts and their offices. Finally, we have included materials to assist the specific populations we serve, such as new judges, prosecutors and other court officers, and retiring or former judges.
If you find that you have questions that can't be answered by the site, please contact the webmaster. Also note that contact information for particular areas, such as Trial Court Management, can be found on that page of the website, or via our staff directory.
Although it is comprehensive, we still need your help to make our website as useful as possible. Please let us know what information you'd like to find here or what forms should be available that currently aren't. Part of our philosophy at the Division is to provide the best service we can for the judiciary and the state of Indiana. Since this is a team endeavor, we need your input to know how best how to do that.
