Court Services manages payroll and benefit programs for all state trial court judges, prosecuting attorneys, and other judicial officials paid with state funds from 14 accounts, totaling approximately $70,000,000. The annual payroll account is approximately $58,185,000 and compensates approximately seven hundred individuals. Court Services also processes and pays in excess of 3,500 claims for special and senior judge service each year.
In addition to processing payroll and managing fiscal accounts, Court Services educates judicial officers about benefits and conducts open enrollment for benefits during specified periods each year.
Court Services provides legal resources to the Supreme Court through the handling of attorney disciplinary cases. Court Services also prepares the orders appointing senior and special judges.
