Review of Indiana’s Child Support Guidelines        

The Domestic Relations Committee of the Judicial Conference of Indiana is reviewing Indiana’s Child Support Rules and Guidelines and will propose changes to the Supreme Court of Indiana.  The Committee is interested in receiving comments concerning these guidelines by July 3, 2008.  In addition, the committee will conduct a public hearing concerning the guidelines on July 18, 2008 to receive comments.  Judge William C. Fee, Steuben Superior Court, chairs the committee.

Written comments due July 3, 2008

Judicial officers, attorneys and members of the public are invited to submit comments concerning Indiana’s Child Support Rules and Guidelines by July 3.  Interested parties may submit written comments by fax at (317) 233-3367 or by mailing them to:

Public Hearing July 18, 2008

A public hearing will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon in the Indiana Supreme Court chambers on the third floor of the State House in Indianapolis.  Interested parties may attend and/or speak at the public hearing.  However, speakers will be limited to no more than five minutes each.  An organization should designate one person to appear and represent that particular organization.
