ORDER APPOINTING SENIOR JUDGE

The Judge of the Porter Superior Court III requested the appointment of Senior Judge Thomas Webber for service in that court through June 30, 2003, pursuant to Ind.Code §33-4-8-1.

We now find that the Porter Superior Court III had a weighted caseload statistic of 1.59 during 2001, above the 1.02 needed for appointment of a senior judge absent extraordinary circumstances warranting appointment of a senior judge.   Having met the minimum caseload requirement during 2001, we find that the appointment of Senior Judge Webber is appropriate until June 30, 2003. 

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED that the Honorable Thomas Webber is appointed as a senior judge in the Porter Superior Court III from the date of this order through June 30, 2003.  Pursuant to Ind.Code §33-4-8-5, the Honorable Thomas Webber may not be compensated as senior judge for more than one hundred (100) days in the aggregate during this calendar year.

The Clerk of this Court is directed to forward a certified copy of this order to the Honorable Julia M. Jent, Judge of the Porter Superior Court III; to the Honorable Thomas Webber; to the clerk of the Porter Superior Court III for entry in the Record of Judgments and Orders; to the Indiana Judicial Center; and to the Division of State Court Administration, Payroll Department.
