Information Available about Appellate Judges on Ballot

Four appellate court judges are up for retention on Election Day in November. Voters will decide "yes" or "no" on whether to retain each appellate judge. A website has been designed by the Supreme Court's Division of State Court Administration as a way for voters to learn about the judges. The website can be found at courts.in.gov/retention.

State's highest court traveling to Purdue University for oral argument

The Indiana Supreme Court will travel to Tippecanoe County to hear oral argument in an adoption-related case. The oral argument in the case of Kramer v. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort-Wayne-South Bend, Inc. (71A03-1308-CT-301) will be held at Purdue University on Monday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. EST. The argument will take place at Stewart Center, Loeb Playhouse, 128 Memorial Mall, West Lafayette, Indiana 47907.
