Lt. Governor Skillman is leading a delegation of Hoosier agriculture and business leaders on an agriculture, jobs and investment mission to China, June 1-10, 2010.
Lt. Governor Skillman, who serves as Indiana’s secretary of agriculture, is making stops in Zhejiang and Beijing to promote Hoosier products. Indiana is currently the ninth leading state in ag exports. In 2008, $670 million of food and agriculture products were exported to China. The costs of the trade mission are being covered entirely through private donations.
