- Information about the Indiana State documents collections.
- Information about the Indiana State newspapers collections.
- Information about the Indiana State manuscripts collections including photographs, oral histories, programs, and broadsides.
- Response within 10 business days for most research questions
Services we cannot provide
- Extensive research, due to time and staff constraints.

- Searches for obituaries for which you only have a date of death/burial and a place; the Indiana Collection will make copies of obituaries for which you have an exact citation, or you can obtain the newspapers you need through interlibrary loan.

-Copies of microfilmed newspapers in our collections; the Indiana State Library does not sell microfilm.
