The IURC has approved a settlement agreement between the OUCC and Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power (CEL&P), establishing new base rates for the utility. For a summary of the agreement, please see the OUCC's February 11, 2016 news release.

Electric utilities can also adjust rates due to changes in wholesale power costs. Those costs can only be recovered on a dollar-for-dollar basis. OUCC review and IURC approval are required.
As of July 2016, Crawfordsville's electric rates ranked ninth among the 14 electric utilities the IURC regulates.
