Joe Hoage was appointed by the Governor Mitch Daniels to serve as Indiana’s Public Access Counselor in July of 2011. He previously served as an attorney for the Indiana Gaming Commission and a deputy prosecutor in Marion County. Hoage received his undergraduate degree from Franklin College and his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. He previously served as a law clerk for the Allen County Superior Court. As the public access counselor, Hoage will provide advice and assistance concerning Indiana’s public access laws to members of the public and government entities.
