In order for the nursing board staff to be able to give their undivided attention to the high volume of applications and related materials we receive each month we will not be available to accept calls between the hours of 12:00 – 4: 30. This block of time will be devoted exclusively to the processing of applications and paperwork by the nursing board staff. We appreciate your patience during this time as the board is working on getting your materials processed as quickly as possible.
Due to the high volume of application materials received by our office, please allow at least 4 weeks for processing the initial application prior to contacting our office for status information and an additional three weeks after receipt of the criminal background check in addition to the 4 week timeframe. If the Board requires additional information upon reviewing your application materials, our office will contact you via email with a request for additional documentation. Please make sure that you include a valid email address on your application.
