Criminal Background Checks
Pursuant to Senate Enrolled Act 363: an individual applying for an initial license or certificate for certain license types with a postmark of July 1, 2011 or after shall submit to a national criminal history background check at the cost of the individual. Criminal history background checks will not be required for renewal applications.
Please note: A criminal background check (CBC) completed prior to the submission of an application for licensure will not be considered valid.
