Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on August 28, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 410 IAC 1-2.3 (LSA Doc. 08-62) to update and modify the communicable disease reporting rule, including reporting requirements, intervention measures, and control measures.

The ISDH has the authority to adopt this rule under IC 16-19-3-4; IC 16-19-3-5; IC 16-41-2-1; IC 16-41-3-1; IC 16-41-12-12; and IC 16-41-12-17.  This rule will not impose any additional requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Office of Legal Affairs, Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana, and are open for public inspection.
