Pendleton Post (Hancock Co.)- Indiana State Police Sergeant Steve Whitaker has released the results of a multi-agency saturation patrol in Hancock County held on August 30.  The Indiana State Police, Hancock County Sheriff's Department, Greenfield Police Department, and New Palestine Police Department participated in the saturation patrol that spanned throughout Hancock County. 

Saturation Patrol Activity

·         Drunk Driving Arrests                 18

·          Felony Drunk Driving Arrests      2

·          Criminal Arrests                          17

·          Possession of Cocaine                   1

·          Possession of Marijuana                1

·          Total Contacts                            321

Sergeant Whitaker stated, "Saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints will continue throughout Hancock County during the rest of the year."  Sergeant Whitaker went on to state, "This saturation patrol was extremely successful in getting 18 potentially dangerous drunk drivers off the road."
