TIPPECANOE, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces State Road 331 (S.R. 331) will be closed at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing in Tippecanoe Sept. 8-12 during resurface construction of the crossing.

Residents and businesses will have access to their properties on either side of the closure, but through traffic will be detoured. Posted signs will direct northbound S.R. 331 traffic to take State Road 25 (S.R. 25) north to State Road 19 (S.R. 19) north to State Road 10 (S.R. 10) west and back to S.R. 331. Southbound traffic will be directed to take S.R. 10 east to S.R. 19 south to S.R. 25 south and back to S.R. 331.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather. INDOT reminds motorists to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a highway construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot.
