VINCENNES, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is announcing the weight restriction has been removed from the Veale Creek Bridge on State Road 257 in Daviess County. 

The bridge previously had a posted gross weight limit is 12 ton.  The integrity of the bridge was not compromised, however, vehicles rated more than 12 ton were re-routed.

A project to replace the structure is currently scheduled for letting in 2013, however, that date is subject to change based on need and funding.
