The Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, the Floyd County Sheriff's Department and the New Albany City Police Department will conduct a driving under the influence enforcement check point and administer roaming patrols targeting impaired drivers in Floyd County. The check point and roaming patrols will begin in the evening hours of September 2nd, 2009 and end in the early morning hours of September 3rd, 2009.

Motorists that are not impaired can expect only short delays of 2-3 minutes while passing through the checkpoint.
