SOS > About SOS > Summer Fellowship Program Summer Fellowship Program

Every summer, the Office of the Indiana Secretary of State welcomes the opportunity to give bright, young minds hands-on experience in the arena of state government. Summer fellows are able to learn about many aspects of the office by working in each of its four divisions.

The fellowship program includes three months of comprehensive experience in the  secretary of state’s office. Duties and responsibilities given to the fellows include special projects and assignments essential to the services provided for Hoosier taxpayers.

Fellows rotate between the four divisions of the Office of the Secretary of State in order to gain experience in as many areas possible. Fellows will work in the securities, elections, dealer services and business services divisions - as well as the secretary’s statehouse office.
