Looking for your W2?

If you are a former state employee who has not yet received their W2, please contact payrolldept@comptroller.in.gov. Active employees should contact their agency’s payroll department.

You have reached the contact page for the Indiana State Personnel Department (INSPD), the human resources agency for state of Indiana employees. If you are not a state employee, INSPD cannot advise you directly, but we will certainly attempt to connect you with helpful resources.

Request for Public Records

Please submit your Access to Public Records Act (APRA) request here. Requests will be reviewed to determine if we have the information you are seeking and if the information is releasable. This process can take some time depending on the scope of your request. You can track the progress of your request through the portal. This portal is for requests from the general public and news media only. All other requests will be fulfilled outside of this portal. Requests from an employee for the their own personnel file, subpoenas, requests from law enforcement, and requests that may contain personal information must be made to the spdcommunications@spd.in.gov inbox.

All messages submitted using this form are sent to the INSPD Communications Division. We try to answer all questions within 48 hours. If your question regards an issue with another state agency, an answer may be delayed as we direct your question to the appropriate resource.
