Mission Statement

The mission of the State Personnel Training Department is to develop, deliver, and coordinate essential skills training and consultation for the Indiana Government Workforce to ensure our workers are fully capable to perform the needed tasks and services in support of our Hoosier Community. We will accomplish this by:

Constantly reviewing, assessing, and delivering courses and curriculums that focus on and meet the demands of our ever-changing work environment;
Being at the forefront of Best Practices related to employee and employer development;
By promising to deliver a dynamic and energetic body of instruction that focuses on real and relevant skills, problems, and solutions;
By having a competent and trained staff of trainers, coordinators, facilitators, and consultants that provide an array of training services; and,
By being a fully engaged partner with other agencies and the education community for the purpose of coordination, facilitation, and consultation in order to provide educational opportunities to ensure that we are comprised of and dedicated to the maintenance of a trained and competent workforce.Employee Training
