Open Enrollment Information for Indiana School Corporations
For the 2024 plan year the State is once again offering three plans: Consumer Driven Health Plan 1, Consumer Driven Health Plan 2, and Traditional Plan. Like last year, you may choose which network option to use. Those who choose Tier 1: HealthSync, will have the lowest cost, as it is the most affordable option of care. Tier 2: In-Network is the next best option, while Tier 3: Out-of-Network is the most expensive.
As a reminder, the tiers cross-accumulate. This means that the amount of the claim that applies to the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum will apply to all tiers. For example, you may hit your deductible under Tier 1, but would still pay the full cost of a service if the provider was in Tier 2, until you have satisfied the Tier 2 In-Network deductible. If only the Tier 1-HealthSync deductible had been satisfied, only providers under Tier 1, would be in the coinsurance stage.
