In addition to steps all high school seniors should take to prepare for and apply to college (http://www.learnmoreindiana.org), there are requirements ALL 21st Century Scholar Seniors must meet in order to be eligible to receive the 21st Century Scholarship:
In addition to the above requirements, 21st Century Schoar Seniors are strongly encouraged to attend a Senior Affirmation and FAFSA Event in their area.
All 21st Century Scholars should attend a Senior Exit Interview or view the presentation online HERE. This online presentation provides crucial information to 21st Century Scholars in their senior year of high school. It provides information about completing the required affirmation process, preparing for college, applying for financial aid, using the 21st Century Scholarship and ensuring receipt of a scholarship is not jeopardized.
The 21st Century Scholar Affirmation Form confirms that a Scholar has honored his or her 21st Century Scholar Pledge. All 21st Century Scholars must complete and sign an Affirmation Form, along with a parent or legal guardian, by March 10, 2013 in order to receive the scholarship. The 21st Century Scholar Affirmation Form can be completed online or on paper.

Once the FAFSA has been submitted, any corrections or updates to the information provided must be made by May 15, 2013.
A 21st Century Scholar must apply for admission to an Indiana college he or she will attend by the deadline for each college.

Students transitioning to college have many questions about what to do during their senior year and what to expect as they move from high school to college. To address some of these questions, Scholars and their families are encouraged to attend Senior Affirmation and FAFSA events scheduled throughout the state. These events are organized by the 21st Century Scholar Outreach Coordinators and will take place in each of the eight Scholar Outreach Regions. Click HERE for the latest listing. Scholars and parents are encouraged to attend these events when possible. (Note: The calendar/list of events will be updated regularly.)
