West Pavilion

Cattle Barn

As the largest cattle barn of its kind in the world, this facility was home to thousands of animals during the Fair.

Champions Pavilion

Draft Horse Barn

The Draft Horse has as long a tradition in Indiana agriculture as the farmer, and the Draft Horse Barn was the place to get up close and personal with Clydesdales, Percherons, Halflingers and Belgians. The Indiana State Fair is proud to stall the participants in the largest six-horse hitch competition in the U.S. and the National Percheron Horse Show.

The 4-H and Open Class Llamas and Alpacas were also in this barn.

Pepsi Coliseum

The Pepsi Coliseum offered a relaxing atmosphere for Fairgoers to cool off and watch some of the state's best livestock judging and competitions. They were able to learn about 4-H and open class Beef and Dairy Cattle judging; watch exciting Mule & Donkey hitches; and even see the Draft Horse Driving competition. The 4-H Sale of Champions took place here as young Hoosiers showed off their prize-winning animals and products in an effort to raise thousands of dollars toward their educations.

Poultry/Rabbit Barn

Northwest Pavilion

In the Poultry / Rabbit Barn you were able to see baby chicks born daily, visit with the ducks and geese, talk to the pigeons, and ooh & aah over the countless bunny rabbits and Cavy. There were so many varieties of chickens. The rooster crowing contest also took place here during the fair.

South Pavilion

Saddle Horse Barn

The Saddle Horse Barn was home to many horses that compete in the 4-H Horse and Pony Shows including donkeys, miniature horses, mules and ponies.

Marsh Blue Ribbon Pavilion

Sheep Barn

In addition to having seen all kinds of sheep throughout the Fair, you were also able to catch sheep shearing demonstrations in this building. The Indiana State Fair is also proud to be home to the National Open Shropshire Show.

The popular Sheep to Shawl contest where you can see how wool is made into usable goods took place in the Pioneer Village Opry House.

Swine Barn

The Swine Barn held approximately 2,300 pigs of 11 different breeds. Judging took place daily in the center ring. Many Fairgoers stopped by to see the World's Largest Male Hog and the Champion Sow and litter, two attractions that leave big impressions on the little ones.

The Pygmy and Dairy Goats were also shown here.
