Accommodations

Indiana is known as The Crossroads of America, and this location makes the Indiana State Fairgrounds an ideal event site for event planners and visitors.  To accommodate our guests, we have an "Official Hotel" nearby and an on-site RV Campgrounds ideal for those visiting Indianapolis and the surrounding region.

Official Hotel

The Marten House Hotel is "Official Hotel" of the Indiana State Fairgrounds and the annual Indiana State Fair. Located on West 86th Street, please visit The Marten House Hotel or call (800) 736-5634.

Tom Raper RV Campgrounds

Conveniently located on the 250-acre Indiana State Fairgrounds, the Tom Raper RV Campgrounds features spaces that accommodate full hook-up requests and those needing primitive sites.

We offer 170 sites at our campground facility, with 80 sites with full seasonal hook-ups (water, electricity and sewer) and 90 sites using electricity or water.

Rates for sites requesting hook-up are $30 per day. Any sites using no hook-ups are $20 per day. All prices include 7% state tax.

Reservations

Reservations are only required during the Indiana State Fair, which usually runs the first three weeks of August. For reservations during the Indiana State Fair, please call (317) 927-7510.  We also reserve the right to require reservations during other high volume events at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Check-in Procedure

Enter the Indiana State Fairgrounds at Gate 6 (via Fall Creek Parkway), drive straight ahead to the Tom Raper RV Campgrounds, pick out your space, and Indiana State Fairgrounds Security will come to complete your check-in.
