New Prepaid Wireless Fee
New Prepaid Wireless Fee -- Effective July 1, 2012, all retail merchants in Indiana that sell prepaid wireless phones services and cards must collect a fee of $.50 per sales transaction. Retail merchants also are required by this new law to notify customers of this new fee. More information can be found at the Department of Revenue web site or at the IN911 web site.
